Aerial Yoga
Our unique hammock system allows you to experience a deeper meditative practice. The benefits of floating as you defy gravity, and melting into the horizon of your mind is truly magical. Aerial Yoga is a fun way to access the pure joy and excitement that floating in your silk gives you! This class involves traditional yoga poses with the added support of a strong, silky hammock that hangs from the ceiling. The hammock is used as a supportive prop in poses like pigeon or downward dog, and helps you more easily perform inverted poses (like headstands and handstands) that might be beyond your abilities or comfort levels. It’s also used for a cocoon-like savasana (the final resting pose at the end of a yoga class). Classes are physically challenging as well as relaxing .Beginners are always welcome.
Although Aerial yoga can be performed by people with all levels of fitness, it is not recommended for pregnant women or those who suffer from vertigo or get dizzy easily, due to the flips and inversions practiced during the class.
Aerial Restore
A gentle, calming practice where you will lay in a lowered silk to support the body while gently stretching. We will be focusing on finding rest in the body and mind by doing restorative postures that support the nervous system creating space for emotional healing. We will occasionally get out of our silks but when we do we will still be finding restful poses to relax into for full meditation and relaxation. Imagine coming into a cozy space, low lighting with candles lit, soothing music playing in the background, and relaxing in into a soft, comfortable silky hammock. Sounds like something you'd be interested in? It is by far our most relaxing, easy, and rejuvenating aerial practice you will ever take.. helping to release any tension you may have. It is designed for all levels of student, from beginner to advanced.
Aerial For Beginners
We will get to know our silk in this beginner aerial class! This is all about finding poses that feel good for our bodies. We will spend half the class doing fun flowy poses and the last half we will complete immerse oursleves in the hammock and find restore. That way you can get an idea of what each class is like (:

Deep Yoga
This class moves through deep stretching and holding them for a longer period of time. This is an active stretching class that targets primary muscle groups surrounding the hips, hamstrings and upper back. Living in a forward facing, seated world, these areas tend to be tight for everyone. Tight muscles can cause imbalance and pull the body out of alignment. This class begins with warm-up movements to build heat and prepare the muscles for stretching. Most poses are done on the floor and held for 1-2 minutes. Holding poses for longer periods of time and focusing on breath gives the body time to fully relax and open.

Vinyasa
A creative and dynamic form of yoga that uses breath to link physical yoga postures. The postures are sequenced in a way to help increase flexibility, strengthen and tone muscles, and allow you to tune in to your body’s own rhythm. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. This class moves from pose to pose and is the fastest moving pace class we offer.
Although all levels are welcome, a reasonable level of fitness/mobility is required. We recommend trying a slow flow before this class!

Rest & Restore
Being busy and rushing through life can tax our body and well-being. We all need time to slow down and nourish ourselves. Rest and restore both the body and the mind. Fully restorative class with poses that are done on the floor using a variety of yoga props to support the body. The poses are held for a several minutes at a time which allows you to relax fully. This class is a perfect complement to your weekly yoga classes! No yoga experience necessary.

Slow Flow
REFRESH your mind and body!
This class is a mixture of meditation, breath-work and gentle movement. Slow Flow Yoga is a perfect class to take if this is your first time. It is for those who want a softer, more nurturing practice and just get to know what yoga is about. This class will guide you to focus on the deepest, stillest, quietest moments. We will enter a state that allows you to experience a deep state of relaxation while rejuvenating the mind, body, spirit on all levels.
